tv guide (the various channels and what they broadcast)
Types of channels:
Livestream - Live realtime camera feed of an area in the game world.
Informational - Randomly/regularly outputs informational tidbits based on what's happening in the game world.
Flavor text - Outputs bullshit, pretty much spam.
Dead/unknown - Doesn't really do anything, or behavior hasn't been witnessed on that channel yet.
"needs a watcher!" - For some reason, certain channels won't output anything if you just have them in an empty room with a stickycam, and will only output a message if you're there physically (certain NPCs, like bartenders, also seem to trigger this)
Livestream channels:
ANYPORT - Any Port, Freedom City - Very noisy! Fucking jester parrot
BADMIN - Execution Platform, Skullcano - Sometimes the skullcano erupts, otherwise nothing happens until someone throws themselves in
BLOODBATH - High Above the Field, Colosseum - Watch players' gladiator job attempts!
CASHTV - Poker In The Rear, Freedom City Casino - Watch poker games between players
FCBS - Live Room, Gangland - Found by going up from El Bastardo Apartments, contains equipment that lets you play back recorded video as well as live stream on the holocam
FCIN - Air Studio, W-U Building - Tricia Takanawa is always here, spouting a news story chosen from an existing list
FITE - In The Pit, Slagtown - Stick Pit, pvp arena
FU - The Fuckest Upest, Corpclave - Really quiet because FU kinda sucks ass
HELLFIRE - Hellfire Club, Freedom City - Usually quiet, sometimes NPCs wander in or a player steps in to slurp the cursed goo fountain
ICS - Fight Club, Panopticon Prison - Watch players take on the ultimate challenge of prison punchies against beloved Punch-Out characters and more
OCHO - Hell of Highway, The Acres - Inaccessible, thus silent
SENATE - Senate Lounge, The Core - Outside Of Time - Admin only, unused, thus silent
VILE - VILE Air Studio, W-U Building - Pretty silent, I've only ever seen the WU building lights switch on/off daily on there
WAVE - WAVE Storage, Outside Of Time - Inaccessible, thus silent
WOOM - Woom, Slagtown - NPCs from slagtown flood this place to dance, fuck, and fight; very noisy! If you're lucky you'll catch players having a dance-off on the stage
Informational channels:
FNN - Reports player achievements, active raider boss spawns, invasion contract restocks, and "defender" job squad spawns
KOPS - Real-time output of every time a law enforcement NPC commits a fatality upon another being, or when a player with a lot of stars appears in the district they're wanted in
QVC - Reports a random item from a random corp store that is currently on sale - needs a watcher!
OWMYBALLS - Real-time output of every time anything, player or NPC, hits something else's bepis.
SCI - Reports various crafting factoids, which may or may not include: The name of a craftable item, an ingredient used in the craft, and the original discoverer of the recipe - needs a watcher!
Flavor text channels - needs a watcher!
SKNX - Player-submitted sex tapes from old-moo. Funnily enough, one of the submitted movies is a montage of OWMYBALLS fatalities.
SLAC - Addresses you in quotes, usually degrading in nature. Seemingly run by the Church of the Subgenius.
VILE - Spam advertisements, usually lewd in nature.
