this page is mostly meant for newer players (or those that forgot the shortcuts) -- a lot of this is "yeah I already knew that" for longterm hellmoo veterans
completing a job is a free clone update -- use this to your advantage to save money and lock in lots of progress
many jobs only require handing/selling an item to an NPC -- you can set up niche use cases by stockpiling:
selling items are "danger free" jobs, allowing for safe and free clone updates at (theoretically, lol shop hours) any time
job items can be sold to players or given to corpmates in need for easy completions by those lacking the strength/skills to handle those jobs
every job has a "strength requirement" with an associated enemy type, for best results you should be able to handle the listed enemy type in combat before going after the job

socializer
strength requirement: none!
given this can be done anywhere with "smalltalk", it's best saved for quick, free clone updates when needed
gambler
strength requirement: none!
spamming dollar slots until completion is the easiest no-brainer way to do this
orphan exterminator
strength requirement: able to kill orphans (*technically* none unless you're trying to fight like 6 at once right out of the gates)
only rabid orphans count - the ones that are foaming at the mouth in their description
private tutor
strength requirement: technically none, tho ability to teach *something* is needed (check what you can teach with 'teach')
you can hire a ganglander and teach them skills to do this easily
you're better off waiting for a player to teach as that will also net you xp, though
corpse grinder
strength requirement: probably none, rabid dogs are pretty easy to stomp out
"process CORPSE with rdcd" - trying to process anything else will turn your groin into ground beef
any corpse works, this is quickly done by dragging a dog in from outside or an orphan in from across the street
if somehow you get groin-ground anyway, you can visit IJ in FC to fix your junk
hitman
strength requirement: varies, ranges from needing to kill orphans, to needing to kill ship pirates
you're most likely going to go after NPC bounties only; the location of the bounty will strongly determine the difficulty
easymode bounties: orphans, kittens, crackheads, etc. if you see these, jump on them fast! easy kills and no risk of stars
lurleen NPCs (Keelie, Clara, etc) are also easy kills and worth the trip for early players but be aware shop hours can block you
botany bay NPCs (Vance, Bae Sui Mi, etc) same criteria as lurleen NPCs, but you need flying or climbing capability to safely enter/exit botany
FC and W-U NPCs are all defenseless dumbfucks but tend to linger in front of cams or make emergency wristpad calls when attacked - you will likely get stars
pirate ship NPCs are the toughest bounties - stronger than anything else on the list & pirate ship is more annoying to reach (shipwreck cove)
however, because of the difficuly/effort it takes to get pirate ship bounties, they can accumulate & a single trip can net you all three kills for the job
mangler
strength requirement: nearly none, go berserk on orphans
always fight aggressive or berserk to gain fatality chance
things to note: certain weapons have higher fatality chances than others, some enemies cannot be fatality'd, powerattacks on low hp targets may help
honestly you don't even have to do anything special for this as you'll be sure to get it naturally by merely fighting aggressive/berserk
abortionist
strength requirement: none!
you can get a free coat hanger from dr. slepian (alleyway in east FC) or buy them from the hardware store (HH, northeast FC)
NPCs around FC may be already be pregnant due to sex with other NPCs, late stage pregnancies can be seen on "tac" (preg)
there's no penalty to trying abortions on things that aren't pregnant so feel free to try abortions on every NPC you see
pregnant teens are the *prime* target for this job as they spawn pregnant, however they're in nukem so bring bullet gear and watch out for karnivores!
deliveryboy
strength requirement: none! but watch out for lobstros at night
there is a small list of recipients that tend to stay in the same location at all times:
Sister Agnes - orphanage (across the street from AP), doesn't move from her office, hilariously easy to do
Slim Stabby - shoreline (east of FC), doesn't move from his spot which is south of all the buildings, west of the FC dock
Roy Poorman - bradbury lobby (south of AP, between slagtown and FC), sometimes wanders out to lauvric's in slagtown for food or something
Ghost Dog - gangland (west of FC), doesn't move from his spot which is on top of the building west of the path north of gangland towards the beach
Chester - sharpton interior (within gangland, short distance west from southwest FC), doesn't move from his spot which is north of the entrance when indoors
haggard old man - north beach (northwest of FC), wanders around on the beach, use "track" or look in the room description for "a hunched figure" nearby
scam artist
strength requirement: none!
pro knowledge of scam artist is just pro knowledge of scamming, which is:
no-nos: being stained with decals, wearing armor, holding weapons - you'll have trouble succeeding if you don't fix these first
"formal" clothing like suits improve your persuade skill, which improves success rates
bling is *extremely* good at raising persuasion success -- it is possible to successfully scam while butt naked, just with good bling alone
dunno if being on drugs ruins persuade chances but i've had successes while so drunk there was insane speech slurring and screaming so who knows haha
go after crackheads and old jerks - if you fail a scam attempt in front of cameras you will get stars; these are scammable NPCs that don't linger by cams
additionally, you don't need as much persuade skill to successfully scam crackheads/old jerks, compared to other scammable NPCs like FC citizens
if you have successfully scammed someone, leave the tile! you do not want to be there when they begin the "look puzzled" action shortly after being scammed
if you are in the tile while your scam victim "looks puzzled", they will figure out you scammed them and make an emergency call on their wristpad - you will get stars!
furry
strength requirement: none!
fursuits can be found in clothing "spawner" containers (shameless advert: here for container locations)
anything that weighs 5kg and fits the entire body also counts as fursuits, i.e. hotdog suits
chud hunter
strength requirement: able to kill chuds and chobos
invasion spawnpoints are the same locations:
freedom city - northeast corner (north of the northeast-most intersection), south intersection (between AP and Avram's, near 420)
gangland - pike street station (go west from the southwest intersection of FC), south of the colosseum (west side of gangland)
slagtown - north intersection (just south of bradbury and galleria)
corpclave - eastern intersection (south of JS and directly west of the eastern gate & empty lot)
burbclave - right at the entrance, just about as soon as you walk in, on the intersection
fisherman
strength requirement: none!
any fish works, but it must be *live* fish - bring a fishbucket as those keep fish alive while they're closed
you can use any rod set to any line length baited with a single worm to catch a fish, line length doesn't really affect bite chance so use small length settings
it can take multiple minutes for a bite to happen, yet you only have a small few seconds to hook a nibbler - alleviating the wait with distractions is risky
*you* don't have to be the original catcher of the fish for the job to count - you can acquire/buy fish from somebody else and sell those to gain job completion
moonshiner
strength requirement: able to kill rednecks
board plane at AP roof, fly southeast, land plane at trailer circle. kill three rednecks, yoink moonshine from corpses, reverse same route back to AP. e-z
if you don't own a plane or cannot fly one, you can still hire the huey/osprey to take you to crater rim helipad, which isn't the best but it works
j'mak blocks your path if you walk there on foot but you can try to kill him, throw him aside, or get a friend to massacre his stupid ass. otherwise, fly there
whore
strength requirement: none!
endorphins are your biggest wall to knocking this out quickly and effortlessly. conquer your endorphins with an orgazmorator, or rapinex from hellfire's fountain
consent is your next biggest wall to knock-- i'm sorry. either way, create the mood in NPCs via orgazmorator, or force yourself on them with a grab if needed
if you're afraid of stars, seek out hentai nurses in st. god's hospital (slagtown), there are no cameras there so you can grab away to your heart's content
it won't count if you "fail" the sex so it's worth ramping up horny for improved fuck skill, especially if you don't have fuck machine
office worker
strength requirement: none!
this is a fairly complex job that may involve one of multiple skills; there are other guides that cover how to get in, so this will only focus on the job itself
the first floor of W-U has a poster indicating building rules, it's worth knowing which floors are off limits & building hours so you don't get W-U stars
if you are inside the W-U building after hours, the lights will shut off - this puts you in darkness! linger any longer, and security will come after you!
the "hack" route - go to the IT department, jack into any server that has a red status light
the "repair" route - look among the cube farms for fax and copy machines, fix any that are damaged
the "scavenge" route - search the supply closets for bullshit like coffee filters and cd-i spindles, give them to NPCs if they ask for one
the "persuade" route - wait for an NPC to bitch about a report and say "me" to them, then "blame report on" every NPC around until one of them takes it
medic
strength requirement: none!
ironically, this job is done most easily by shitty medics, as credit is applied per trauma kit *applied* rather than amount of health *healed*
the amount of health a patient recovers does not matter for the job, so it's actually viable to debuff your medic prior to healing patients
a truly pathetic medic coming across a really beat up patient can complete the job on that single patient alone very quickly!
be kind, rewind - patients at full health are no good for the job, so it's helpful for the next player to kill any patients at full health to let new ones spawn
chef
strength requirement: none!
only foods with at least *two* ingredients count -- no quick'n'easy completion with lots of steak au poivres, unfortunately!
bacon-wrapped lobstro is the go-to food to cook for this job, made from a raw lobstro meat and a strip of bacon
raw lobstro meat is from lobstros (north beach at nighttime) & bacon is crafted from tusker bellies, from tuskers (chemical plant, country road)
miner
strength requirement: able to kill cave spiders if getting gems on your own
the spider lair in the southeast-most corner of the underground river is a great location to mine rough gems
it is also a great location to get your dumb ass bit by a cave spider, so ability to kill cave spiders / a way to handle/mitigate spider venom is recommended
cave-ins aren't a big deal, wear good beat armor to handle the rocks falling and only dig piles when leaving the tile, not when they appear
if you're mining in one tile for a very long time, room resets and other phenomena will remove some/all rubble piles from the area, so only dig when leaving!
any rough gem can be sold, but it's better to hold onto rubies and emeralds due to their rarity and involvement in various useful crafts
burglar
strength requirement: none!
NPC apartments are what to hit; despite the pool of valuables that can be stolen, only TVs count for the job
both physical (steel lockpick) and electronic (magspike) lockpicks can be bought at the automat at Rough Trade
you can hit propecia suites (southwest FC), humatrope tower (west FC), xolair plaza (north FC), or cialis tower (northeast corpclave) for valuables
propecia suites are the shittiest apartments - small and barely have anything, but also have smashable doors for those players who cannot lockpick
conversely, cialis tower has the best loot, but you will need to bring a magspike to hit the hotel locks on the doors. some rooms have hidden safes
night vision is strongly recommended to look into dark apartment rooms - passed out NPCs are no threat but NPCs standing in apartments will call the cops on you
at day, rent-a-cops patrol outside apartment doors to guard the empty rooms, keep looking into nearby areas while picking to avoid being seen by one moving in
sewer butcher
strength requirement: able to kill chuds
this job is so easy there's not many protips to share, other than: you can easily gather a ton of chudmeat fast by butchering the aftermath of a chud invasion :)
teacher's pet
strength requirement: able to dodge or kill karnivores
a newer player can complete this if a stronger player carves a path through the karnivores to Samantha for them
any reading material will work, except pornographic materials -- notebooks also count as fresh paper for da students
out of all the applicable items, i find notebooks to be the easiest to source; they are dropped occasionally by nerds, and can be bought from 9eleven in FC
prisoner hunter
strength requirement: able to kill panopticon prisoners
prisoners aren't that bad in combat as they all throw fists but if you really need to benchmark your readiness for them i guess you can fight one in panop to check
invasion spawnpoints are the same locations:
gangland - nearby the mall in the northwest corner, right outside of north beach, or right in front of the prison (lol, lmao)
corpclave - over by the airplane store, west side
freedom city - in the intersection closest to FCPD (lol, lmao)
porn star
strength requirement: none!
this one's a fuckin' nightmare if you tackle it head-on, with a very "interesting" history... good luck.
to make this a lot easier, find available titles that only require two participants -- the other participant in your movie *can* be an NPC
to make this a LOT easier, after you've successfully turned in a movie, kill Dick's stupid ass and take your movie back so you can cash it in again on sequels
seriously just grab NPCs and love them ferociously with on hand and then keep cashing in sequels this job is so fucking bad and will be a huge pain in the ass otherwise
baby farmer
strength requirement: none!
use monster babies for this as they're *wildly* easier to "make" than live babies, hand food/crank to Propecia in the crack mansion etc etc
babymomma pregnancy is as much of a fucking horror show as monster babies themselves - there is a pregnancy chance on *insertion* and not *orgasm*
ergo, the most reliable way to get a monster baby is to hand a rock to Propecia and then start sex; if she doesn't mention "kicking" then stop sex to retry
every sex attempt requires a "tribute" (heh) of crank/food so scav a rock and break it down as much as possible to maximize your chances
utility worker
strength requirement: able to dodge or kill gators is recommended
not much to say on this, other than be very wary of power transformers at the tops of climbs & water valves in the sewers under FC as these are newbie killers
rescue ranger
strength requirement: able to dodge or kill hepcats is recommended
full readiness for this job requires a radiation suit and preferably a flyer but is most easily done with a portalgun for big brain plays
the spawnpoints of the crashed planes & bureaucrats are the same every time:
maas-neotek - southwest corner, expect rubble piles to dig to get out of that corner, watch out for hepcats
wasteland - all the way south, outside of the huge "crater" area, just before the climb up to ncw, go west
mountainside - you can't miss 'em if you go there by foot but if you land there then they're west of the only available landing zone
false flag defender
strength requirement: able to kill nippoacolytes (strongest jerks in kakuri monastery)
if you want to check combat readiness, you can take the huey/osprey from AP roof to kakuri and fight a few punks in the monastery
spawn only in shoreline, wow! - just outside the fishing shop, just outside the soda crate shop, and behind EEE (E3)
these punks love to spread out after spawning but thankfully don't ever seem to enter water or FC
toxic terrier
strength requirement: able to kill bleachrats (contract exclusive -- if you can handle gators you can probably handle bleachrats)
gas mask is a requirement as this entirely happens within toxic dump & 100 AbomNation rep is needed to enter carcinoma to purchase the contract

it's wise to wear niche protection for exotic soaks, like a radiation suit, as ghost hands hit way different than anything you can soak with regular armor
avoid scanning for ghosts near the JW buildings as you may end up wasting your time chasing down ghost roommates that live in corp HQs
you can make your own ghosts by finding red chalk in the FC satanist church, drawing pentagrams and killing someone over them, though you may still need ghostbait
gladiator
strength requirement: able to kill nullianacs!!! (oof)
this is easiest done, but most costly, by going head to head with someone in a team challenge and winning (at their expense)
the general way this is done is through solo challenge, which is something you should only explore after maximizing combat effectiveness, as it includes fighting nulls
if you find the solo challenge too impossible for your build then prepare to pay out in recloning costs and rejuvex to whoever you slaughter for completions, I guess
slave driver
strength requirement: none!
minimize the amount of time spent decaying in a boat by keeping a trawler or yacht parked at stormfront and boating from there instead of from the mainland
where you source your slave is up to you but it seems like they can only be grabbed from the mainland, i.e. FC citizens or slagtowners
the slave collar will detonate if your slave is away from you for too long, minimize pathing fuckery by opening doors prior to making movements through them
even then, it's best to minimize pathing fuckery (and chances of premature detonation) by minimizing the amount of movements between capture and sale
my personal routine was grab slagtowner by the slagtown airstrip, collar them, fly to stormfront, boat to tortuga, land at the second dock (closer to auction house), profit
dexter
strength requirement: able to kill shadowy figures
very simple honestly, either 'track shadowy figure' or (if you suck at track) sweep the entire gangland with 'hunt shadowy figure'
serial killers aren't that tough of a fight really but they're notoriously good at slipping away as a result of being able to leave tiles without any messages displayed
keep a close watch on the room description and 'tac' to stay on top of when they're escaping & when they disappear so you can keep chasing them down easily
junker hunter
strength requirement: able to kill junkers!
junkers spawn as piles of rubble and trash in rooms, you should look at room descriptions for the extra pile appended to the end of the usual description to find them
junkers deal HEAVY beat damage and are known to be a problem to some players with endgame level offense; wear big beat soaks, maximize tohit for parries, use cover, etc
resistance runner
strength requirement: none, but ability to kill necropolis freaks and sky pirates is preferable
the printer in Kardia's lists a bunch of applicable weapons for the job (and additionally those are recipes to make those weapons that you can take for use)
honestly though it's way easier and faster to loot applicable weapons from enemies in necro gate than try to craft them yourself
collect assegais from sky pirates hanging around the necro gate crash site & razorchains and link whips from freaks hanging around necro gate
shellraiser
strength requirement: able to kill lobstrosities (obviously)
super simple and straightforward, all you need to know is lobstros come out of the water at night in north beach and it's worthwhile to save lobstro meat for recipes on chef job
defender
strength requirement: varies, able to kill beefalos at minimum OR able to kill tentacle beasts to be tough enough for any of them
get a stickycam and point it at a TV tuned to FNN and learn which messages pertain to invasion contract restocks, and which invasions are "live" invasions for this job
"live" invasions are: tentacle beasts in burbclave, karnivores in FC, beefalos in shoreline, robots in gangland, aliens in crater rim, nerds in nukem, and rednecks in slagtown
supply runner
strength requirement: none, but piloting ability, a boat, or a friend is needed to reach coventry
despite the fact this job takes place on big bad coventry, it actually happens on the harmless half of the two islands that make up coventry so even a newbie can do it
additionally, "simple" recipes work for this job, unlike chef; it's much easier as all you need is the bare basic crafting skill to slap together steak au poivres
racist hunter
strength requirement: able to kill racists (obviously)
unlike other invasions, *all* spawnpoints are chosen instead of *one* to drop these jerks into so a much more rigorous search and destroy mission is needed
spawn locations are thankfully still the same each time:
north beach - three separate tiles along the outside edge of the carnival to the edge of the beach at the end of the road from gangland
gangland - the intersection just south of north beach, three separate tiles within the northwest corner area, nearby the grocery store, nearby the fire station, and within the corner between FC, slagtown, and gangland
oil pumper
strength requirement: able to kill rig workers (they wield shotguns but are inaccurate as heck with them)
no way to protip this without protipping refinery so... refinery crash course:
scavenge parts from 'storage' tiles and tiles that mention machinery that either 'hum softly' or 'are cold and dead'
fix all 'cold and dead' tiles to instead report 'humming softly' ('fix here')
bring extra parts as there's no guarantee you'll find what you need on a visit
parts list: **TO-DO**
kill Johnny and Wez and Zetta since they fuck with the machines/controls, but be careful of their shotguns - inaccurate but hurty
configure console to Pumping Station -> Desalinator Wedge -> Catalytic Reformer Bay -> Hydrocracker Bay -> Merox Room -> Isomerization Plant
if fuel level or fuel pressure surpass 100%, the tanks blow up and you must restart later - check fuel level before/after pumping and fuel pressure before/during pumping
when refinery is active (console is "flowing") stay by pressure console and vent pressure as needed - "critical" alert appears at 60% pressure to remind you to vent
every "tick" while refinery is active increases fuel level by 10% and fuel pressure by 22%, venting reduces pressure by 35%
count 10 "ticks" to know when the tanks are full, by repeatedly looking at the pressure console for changes in pressure
when 10 ticks counted, switch console off, check tanks for 100%, scavenge bottle rocket at helipad and light it (need a lighter (or carrie?)), wait for tanker to CLANG
sleeper escort
strength requirement: none, but ability to kill blue screamers and grizzlies is preferable
general know-how of screamer base expected, but key points: scavenge upon entry to find the secret route and disable the entry gauntlet, and wear earplugs around screamers
you must be able to pick a VoxGuard Bronze (or bring someone along who can) as while the door can be smashed with fire damage, very few melee weapons deal pure fire damage
you *could* blast the door down with fire ammunition (been there done that) but it takes a stupidly *huge* amount, you really should just pick this door
kill screamers to find a perforated keycard, get through the door, insert keycard in cryo tank; from that point it's an escort mission from screamer base to weezer
sleepers seem to be immune to cold and grizzly aggro but you aren't; you should be able to handle/avoid grizzlies and survive cold temperatures to pull this one off
the 50m climb down from the dam to the village is the best way in - sleepers can reliably climb down and you can just drop from the climb into the water below
heisenberg's burden
strength requirement: none, other than having the know-how to survive in necro gate
funnily enough you don't even need any AbomNation rep to do this, you can walk right through angry freaks and a bitter Drucilla and get cooking away for credit anyway
even more funnily enough, you are rewarded on *attempt* and not *completion*, so fucking it up will still get you job credit, no real skill required
there are both stations for crank (ephedra leaves + methylamine, chemistry-based) and crack (cocaine + baking soda, craft-based) so you can complete with craft skill too
stem major
strength requirement: none
very simple in theory; you can alawys pluck dead babies from pregnant teens in nukem, get them made into stem cells, bring them in - remember you need 100 AN rep to enter carci
pusherman
strength requirement: none
rock size doesn't matter for job completion so a single rock scavenged from crack mansion can be broken down into about 10 tiny rocks real easy
raider killer
strength requirement: able to kill raider bosses (obviously)
check out typical spawn points (wink wink) that are along your routes to help rack up kills without needing to rely on seeks or johnny
mine rescuer
strength requirement: ability to dodge or kill aphotic grotto monstrosities is strongly preferred
stupidly easy and big money for minimal effort, imo - be able to dodge grotto monsters & use the gator boy shortcut
gator boy shortcut = search gator boy's cave to find a passage between shoreline and the northeast edge of the grotto
carcinoma defender
strength requirement: able to kill FCEF rookies (they're somewhere around the toughness of karnivores imo)
like racist invastions, FCEF rookies spawned from this contract appear all over toxic dump, but toxic dump is pretty small so it's easy
though be aware that, alike FCEF soldiers in south necro, FCEF rookies are "intelligent" enemies (can pow/feint/dodge/etc)
organ repo
strength requirement: none
the punk-ass stockboy likes to wander around maas in the daytime so this is most easily done in the nighttime when he sits in the kiosk
organ kits only work on "applicable" corpses - humanoids whose bodies are not super mangled (due to butchering, fatality, etc)
i found this easiest to do by just flying from maas south gate to crack mansion rooftop, get organs from a crackhead, fly back, give to stockboy and donezo
chop shopper
strength requirement: none
in the context of pve friendmoo that samsara is, the best way to do this one is chop your own flyers
any flyer is applicable - shoot for easiest to acquire & most cost-effective
my "easiest/cost effective" route was buy a mosquito, insure it, fill it with only a jerrycan's worth of gas, fly it to gangland and chop it
funnily enough if you do it in a very cost effective manner, the job/chopping/insurance payouts combined mitigate the costs of buying a bunch of mosquitos greatly
lumberjack
strength requirement: able to kill treemen (obviously)
be aware that the old man in botany has shop hours, they're never posted but they're something like 8pm-8am iirc
that and also, like all other shopkeeps you sell masses of butchered pieces to, he'll probably run out of money before you complete so come back often and sell what you can
furrier
strength requirement: able to kill ice yetis
ice yeti pelts and (i think) grizzly pelts can be cashed in for this job
grizzlies are in the south part of mountain pass by screamer base
ice yetis are in weezer dam, found nearby the exit to open prairie
you can also summon a bunch of ice yetis and (zombie) grizzlies as part of an invasion contract at weezer village to expedite this process
capitalism ho
strength requirement: you'll probably want to at least be able to kill whoever you're looting (rusty) AK-7s from
the two easy ways to do this are the crafter's way and the can't-crafter's way
crafter's way - get rusty AK's from places like refinery workers, chomologists, and pirates and refabricate them into AR-17s which also work for this job
can't-crafter's way - beat up Virgil at coventry over and over again for his AK-7 that he drops lol lmao
you can also beat up Captain Wei for AK-7s at the pirate ship but the respawn there is WAY slower
if you're rich as hell be aware you may run into permanent revolutionary and he'll kill the fuck out of you so don't dick around in macero too long if you're a millionaire schmuck
entomologist
strength requirement: able to kill mutated ants (obviously)
woe, j'lar be upon you - just sell whenever possible but expect to only be able to sell just a couple at a time, just visit 'em frequently
other than that, i assume you know how ants work, but if not - be ready to be on fire a fucking lot lmao and also run the hell away from (or try grabs, if you're wrestley) antopotomus
herpetologist
strength requirement: able to kill rock turtles (obviously)
woe, joda be upon you - while joda moves around and can't be tracked or sought thankfully the locations are all the same:
shoreline - right outside galleria
wasteland - around the northeast edge of the giant "crater" area, i've also heard there can be an apperance on the south but i haven't seen it myself
abandoned road - just outside of the exit to lurleen
mountain pass - from the eastern exit/landing zone, just follow the path west through the cliffs/bombing bandits until you find it at the other end
if you have big brawn you can flip rock turtles to make them unable to attack for a short period of time
otherwise you'll want to rely on exploiting their fucking-slow-yet-fucking-STRONG attacks to attempt a hit or two and then get outta there before they can strike
cluster hunt/fuck
strength requirement: none, other than having the know-how to survive in necro gate
pretty sure which of these jobs you do is dependent on whether you have hideous freak or not
if you want to do *both*, as of right now you have to complete cluster hunt, then mutate freak, then complete cluster fuck
if you don't plan on mutating freak or already did before maxing cluster hunt then heh you can't get both unless you demute, pal
cluster locations are every tile that have a 'strange spraypainted glyph on the wall' - there are some in necro gate and some in south necro
freaks / positive AN rep havers will have safer downloads in necro gate
normies / positive FCEF rep havers will have safer downloads in south necro
reactor tech
strength requirement: none? but good science skill is needed by at least one person on the crew
reactor crash course:
bring an enriched uranium rod (easily gained from matter compiler) and preferably a few parts like blade fuses and steel pipes to repair the rooms in the south with
the rooms that may need repairs are Substation and Water Pump
in the center of the area is the Reactor Control Room, this is where the enriched uranium rod can be loaded into the reactor (one person gets job credit for doing this and doesn't need a ton of science skill to do, it can be bruteforced as there's no penalty for failure other than minor damage)
Supervisor Marco blocks the physical core area, he will need to be killed and his head cut off to be used on the scanner to the door into the core
enter the core area and find the panel in the center, open the panel, press prestart, if no errors pop up on prestarting then press start (another person can get job credit for doing this, however the science skill requirements are much higher, and there is a chance of causing a meltdown when starting, no matter how good the science skill is - always be prepared to yank the coolant lever if needed!)
if you see "CORE TOO HOT, INSERT CONTROL RODS" in the control room at all, after starting, yank that goddamn coolant lever and (optionally) run for your life haha
HIDDEN JOB: leechbane
strength requirement: able to kill rock leeches/lampreys
you can find invasion contracts in the luskentyre store at the south end of the plateau
lampreys spawn *almost* all over the place, both inside and outside of the mansion
they can sometimes move into some of the smaller indoor areas on the plateau i.e. the tusker pen
HIDDEN JOB: dinnertime
strength requirement: none
once you've become bonepanther's friend, this job will unlock on subsequent bonepanther feedings
given this is easy, no risk, can be done solo anytime, doesn't grant any ip, and only gives 50 xp, it is THE BEST THE BEST THE *BEST* job to just hang onto longterm and leverage for free clone updates as needed!
